Dog collars for small and large dogs

At Don Lorino you'll find dog collars in two ranges: our own Click and Petit collections, with a soft outer and a quick-release buckle, and handmade leather collars from Maul Ledermanufaktur.

Click – our most reviewed collar

Click Soft has a soft velvet outer and a waxed cotton lining. The zinc quick-release buckle makes the collar easy to put on and take off. Click comes in sizes XS–L for neck sizes of 21–55 cm and is 2–2.5 cm wide depending on the size. Matching dog leads, harnesses and bow ties are available in the same colours.

Petit – for puppies and small dogs

Petit is 1.2 cm wide, weighs 17 grams and fits neck sizes of 18–30 cm. The outer is velvet or corduroy, with a durable woven nylon lining. The range suits breeds such as Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers and Pomeranians, as well as puppies. See the full Petit collection.

Leather collars from Maul Ledermanufaktur

Maul Ledermanufaktur has been making collars, leads and harnesses by hand in Germany since 1975. Our range includes classic flat leather collars, round-stitched collars, martingale collars, mini collars for small dogs and sighthound collars. Some models are made to order and have a longer delivery time. The current delivery time is shown on each product page. See all dog collars from Maul Ledermanufaktur.

Patterns, colour and name tags

For more colour, there are floral Flower collars, Lou collars with a name tag and more models in a range of colours. Any collar can be paired with an engraved name tag.

How to choose the right size

Measure around your dog's neck where the collar will sit, and choose the size by neck measurement rather than the collar's total length. You should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog. Each product page lists the measurements for that model, and our dog collar size guide has more tips.

Frequently asked questions about dog collars

Should I choose a collar or a harness?

A collar is practical for everyday use and carries your dog's name tag. If your dog pulls a lot on the lead, a dog harness may be more comfortable, as the pressure is spread across the chest rather than the neck.

What is a martingale collar?

A martingale collar tightens slightly when the dog pulls and doesn't slip off as easily as a standard collar. It should only be used while your dog is supervised.

Are there matching leads?

Yes. Click, Petit and several Maul Ledermanufaktur models are available as leads in the same colours. For complete sets, browse our exclusive dog collars and leads.
